Not worse than that, no. But, I have had my bag "misplaced" a couple of times. If you have status on the airline, they generally give you a bag of toiletries and whatnot to tide you over. If you don't have status, they could care less about how you manage until they find your bag.
ReplyDeleteI can count the number of times my bag has been misplaced by the number of missing parts on it; for some reason it always comes back with a missing handle, or a broken zipper, or some other new characteristic.
I stopped checking bags about a year ago and have never turned back. And now, I can't even imagine them wanting us to pay them for them to torture us like that. Checked bag fees? Isn't the experience taxing enough?
