Web Site Development
The airport's web site will be seeing a few minor layout changes over the next week or two. While we're in the building mode, we're wondering what your thoughts are on web site usability and content. Do you have constructive suggestions regarding flyhia.com? If so, post 'em here!

I think you guys should bring Spirit Airlines to Harrisburg for flights to Fort Lauderdale. The South Florida area seems to be a very popular destination for many in this area and Spirit Airlines offers very cheap flights that would be affordable to many.
ReplyDeleteThere is still an issue in firefox in the left-hand nav. On mouseover, the blue subnav overlay pops out, but when you try to click on any of the subnav links (thus mousing out of the original link), the subnav goes away. Now you can click on the original link, which will cause the green subnav to expand downward, but mousing over any of those subnav links causes the blue subnav overlay to pop up and cover the link you're trying to click! Very confusing and frustrating.
ReplyDeleteThis is hard to depict in screenshots since it's an interaction problem. Let me know if the above doesn't make sense.
The subnav operates the same way in IE. We're working on figuring out a way to make it less intrusive. Thanks for your patience, Matt.
ReplyDeleteWe've had past conversations with Spirit, thank you for the suggestion. We're completely at the airlines discretion for whether or not they choose to serve our facility. At the moment you could connect to S. Florida with one stop, Varun on the airlines currently serving HIA.
